Kept to the original and put my own spin on it! Added some drums and then layered a prophet brass sound playing with the cutoff filter throughout. A bit of sidechain on the original stems and some filtering of the frequencies to allow the track to vary with intensity throughout.

I'm using only Vocals from Shadows Stems.

I loved the album and thanks so much for sharing the stems, it was a lot of fun playing about with them. As for the song, I thought the vibe of the vocals/lyrics would lend itself to some uplifting trance. And I got some of the ideas for the melodies by messing about with the bassline after pitching it up.

I started with the vocal stem just playing different chords over it to see what worked. Recently got Diva by u-he so all the synths are that other than the tremolo-y bit at the beginning which is from sampling the Textures/Strings stem.

I rearranged the chords and added some simple acoustic sounds and gradually built it up. There's a lot of texture in the original vocal track and I tried to give that as much room as possible.

When I first heard Shadows I heard a remix almost instantly. I started making a piano sample, using the original piano, slicing into it to create the trance like pulse. Bringing in the beat, I really wanted to bring a club feel but with some afro elements, I put this with a heavily sidechained Moog bassline to get the track pumping.

Sampling the vocals on top using Logic's in built sampler, I wanted to leave them to breathe where possible and chop, formant shift and FX them in the builds and breaks.

Thanks for dropping the stems. As a novice producer it’s nice to have the opportunity to try and remix a track. I’ve slowed down the piano and given it a Liquid DNB vibe.

Model Man has been a big inspiration for me since the self titled album, and his latest is nothing short of amazing. I was so excited to hop on the opportunity to remix don't cry back when he released those stems, and now having the chance to remix my favourite track from the most recent album, I have no choice but to give it a try. I've been looking to make some breakbeat music around 100-115 bpm and this song just seemed to fit really well with that. hope you like it!

When I first heard the track, I felt I could almost hear swung garagey beats, so I added those with a Reese Bass to get some darker vibes going with the lush piano.

Made this edit by revamping the main piano melody with Arps and utilizing a vocal pad in the back to give it an ambient vibe. Love this one.

Love the chopped voice sample so I based the tack around it, and sliced up the piano in a similar way. Then I added some drums and wobbly bass for a speed garage vibe.
